New Partnership Announcement

P3P Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Haszlakiewicz, Philip Elborne and Alex Bartho to the partnership, effective 1 April 2023.

Ian, Pip and Alex have been instrumental in many of the successes of the business in recent years and bring complementary experience to the existing partners Rupert Lywood and Julian Harris. Ian has previously led the modelling, trading and energy supply aspects of P3P’s business, Philip new business origination, development and engineering, and Alex legal, commercial and financing.

This step, on top of a full group reorganisation consolidating P3P’s businesses and interests under a single holding company also completed on 1 April 2023, sets P3P firmly on a path for continued growth and expansion.

About Ian

Ian started his career as an analyst specialising in natural gas, LNG and power markets, before joining P3P in 2016 to develop its energy market operations. Ian became Partner in January 2023. Ian runs P3P’s energy supply and trading business and evaluates new investment opportunities across various energy technologies. His focus is on optimising energy and CO2 provision in the horticulture sector.

About Pip

Pip has 14 years’ experience in the energy industry, having spent five years at GE’s Power & Water business before joining P3P in 2014. He has worked across the power generation sector including operations, construction, development, project management, and new business origination.

Having become a Partner in January 2023, Pip is primarily responsible for new business origination and oversight of development and engineering operations.

About Alex

Alex is an energy industry professional (as well as recovering lawyer) with more than 14 years’ experience in the sector spanning legal practice in the renewable sector at Ashurst and M&A and structured finance leadership at Ørsted prior to joining P3P in 2019.

Alex became Partner in January 2023 and is primarily responsible for P3P’s deal execution, transaction structuring and commercial strategy.
